This second story addition
to a 1918 bungalow contains three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The gable
roof is stepped in plan to minimize the added bulk and reduce the scale. A
deck was tucked into the roof of the original porch taking advantage of
unobstructed views of Ballard and the Olympic Mountains beyond.
