Federal Way Residence

1997 existing exterior

1997 before

Constructed in 1978, this house was designed by noted Seattle architect, Lee Copeland.  The clients were the original owners and the contractor for the remodel was their son who grew up in the house.  The taut design of the renovations including vertical-grain fir cabinets and granite countertops complements the original design.

The renovations were completed in two phases – the kitchen and breakfast area,  and then the master bedroom and bathroom.  The general contractor was W. S. Feldt General Contractor, Inc.

First phase completed spring 1998; second phase completed winter 2001
